Curvy Stake & Strand with Braided Lid

Delight in the act of opening a lid and seeing what hides inside. In this class you will weave a curvy round stake & strand willow basket with a braided border lid. You will learn traditional wicker techniques and patterns as well as the freedom to explore your personal style and creativity. This class is for intermediate weavers who enjoy weaving with smaller sticks.

I love helping people develop a relationship with willow and their hands. As technique and pattern recognition are learned, style and creativity can be expressed.
